I saw this the last time it came up for sale a couple of years ago. It would be campaigned in Class 7 of the Techniques Sprint Series, but it's a great base for development. Would be only a couple of £K to swap the engine for a competative Zetec using the existing Twin 45's 220-250bhp.

There was a Fulvia racing at the Silverstone Classic last year.I spoke to the owner, and he'd been looking for a racer (might have been an MGB), when the Fulvia turned up and he was smitten. It was either grey or pale green but very tidy. I must be getting old.

Pretty cars, but not really my cup of tea. That's around the same price as the 4/4 I mentioned

I was looking at ads for quite some time and eventually opted for my 4/4. I did notice prices start to "fail to lower" and got in to a decent cat with what I consider cosmetic work to be done.
I intend using the car this year with "minor" work only but look to plam further work next winter, even possibly considering "upgrade".
Until then I will enjoy the car.
I nearly had my hands on an MGBGT last year. £400
Needed minor work.
Respray/refit wing.
My mate had first refusal but didn't refuse!

It had a new stainless exhaust ready to go on so was effectively a nearly free car!
It's cost him about £1500 so far and about to get onto the road.
When its on the road I will wind him up by introducing him to my neighbour who has a concours car!
