Yesterday I show my (may be) son in law the first time. He' s got a ELISE this year. He was surprised about my "computer" in the speedo... But I was also surprised: only 12,6 Volts.
Have a look in the manual (2018 +4): if you store the car more than THREE days use a batterie fresher... Ups. Or disconnect the batterie.
No possibility for use something electric in my garage :-(

A 150 mile round trip to meet Peter Ballard and with my Pal Ian, drive "Molly".
Well, if I had been in any way skeptical about the 5 link rear suspension this drive would have overcome any doubts.
I was already a happy customer for the SSL Front end, as I'd fitted it on Aldermog. But I'd not driven anything with both front and back upgrades. This was like no other traditional Morgan I'd ever driven. It felt more like a more modern car, the back end was both controlled and communicative, not to mention the more subtle and comfortable ride.
Yes, I know it isn't cheap, but as I am not a "sack cloth and ashes" typ of driver I'd pay up and enjoy the journey.
On the was back we called into Williams to say "Hi"and a happy new year to them all.
The Spaniels could take Ian to a car, so he is safe for now. Williams had a busy end to the year, including selling the last Plus 8 in their stock.
The sun shone, the sky was mostly blue, it wasn't too cold and Tarka was in stunning form. A perfect end to 2018's Morganeering!
Just need to wash Tarka now.

A nice drown to the sea at Felixstowe and home via Felixstowe Ferry.   Glorious way to end a fun year of Mog driving, but maybe I'll sneak in another run

Took sospan jnr back to Cardiff yesterday. 120 miles rohnd trip. M4 on the way so a bit monotonous. Came back on A48. Much nicer run back.
No rain so nice hood down run. Clear sky over Cardiff Came back via Ely area of Cardiff and the sun was a nuisance at times. Only traffic issue was Culverhouse area due to the shops. Sales time....

Car looking really good SFG - Did you happen to be passing through Caversham last Saturday by any chance? I wasn't in the Mog so couldn't acknowledge you but passed one just like yours on the other side of the road.
