Hi, I joined the forum some days ago and have already found very good and usefull information. I also like the nice "tone" amongst members here. I have (finally) bought a fairely new 4/4 Sport, that I will collect in a week or so. No need to tell You guys that I look forward to that! I hope someone can give me some advises: I'm collecting the car with a car trailer. Are there any lashing/tie down points under the Morgan to secure it to the trailer? If so, where? And finally, what should the car be delivered with as standard (tools, handbook, jack, doors etc)?
All the best

Congratulations on your new purchase, good choice.
As for putting it on a trailer.
Raise the nose of the trailer to make the ramps as gentle as possible, it helps with clerarance. When securing, use hoops around the wheels to secure. There is limited places on the Morgan to attach, there is at the front a towing eye which you can also use.
Not sure on the kit you get standard.

Welcome to TM - and good choice of Mog - besides hood and side-screens my 2009 Sport came with jack/lead hammer/wheel nut wrench [just a flat steel spanner to fit the large centre nut- you clout it with the lead hammer] and a can of tyre sealant all in a vinyl bag, 2010 4/4 Sport came without the jack.... You should also have three ignition keys, several door keys [for cars with external door handles] a small s/steel bar to tighten the knurled side-screen knobs and a combined instruction manual come proof of service booklet. Anything else - tonneau cover, luggage rack etc would be an option and not standard equipment. As for lashing points - there is a front towing eye bolted to the chassis but I don't recall anything at the rear, when my car was trailered webbing straps were wrapped over the rear tyres and ratcheted to the trailer bed.

Thanks for info Cerealsurfer and Easter. This will make me better prepeared. Itīs also good to know what I should look after regarding standard equipment-that itīs all there. The Mog is a 2009 model, like yours Easter. It has some few options like luggage rack, Moto steering whell, bonnet strap and bumperettes (if thats the right word). No tonneau cover, so I need to look for that soon.

Yesterday was a great day, when I finally collected the Mog. I started off from home very earley (04:45) and got home very late. We crossed both over and under fjords (ferries and deep underwater tunnels - down to nearly minus 300m). I followed advises from your replies, on securing the Mog on the trailer. After that there was a job to cover it well, due to bad weather/salty roads. It was a nice, light load to transport. It all went well, and it's now parked at home. It looks&feels good, even better than expected. The only thing I couldn't find to be OK, was that there where no brake lights working. Bulbs, fuse og brakelight swicht will be looked into. I will soon sort out some photos. Hopefully the winter will end soon. In the meantime I need to practise on entering in/out .
