Come on Tim - don't keep us all in suspense! It's another Bonnie, Graham. My mate bought one and is restoring it in his shed, and I've agreed to buy it when it's finished. It's a '78 US-spec with left foot shift and rear disc. This is what it currently looks like:  And when it's finished it should look like this:  Progress isn't exactly speedy, though, we seem to spend more time talking about it in the pub than he spends actually working on it

Nice bike though. Mine was earlier with the gear shift on the proper side.

Just as I had, except mine had the flatter bars and larger UK tank.
Very nice Tim, I will admit to being a trifle jealous! I'd like a Tiger now though - same spec except for single carb, so only around 5 bhp less.
I did try to buy another Bonnie many years ago at an auction here in Cheltenham, but the starting price was more than I was prepared to pay. Pal of mine came up from Somerset as there were some spare parts he wanted. The only things that didn't go were a couple of microcars (and I think the pair were given away for £50 in the end!).

We are most of the way through decluttering after moving house last year. It is on our list to complete. All that’s needed are anti-sentiment drugs to clear the mind!
One personal rez is to start fishing again.
Another is to reduce my golf handicap to where it was or lower...

This loft emptying is a great idea, we have boxes in our loft that haven't been opened since we moved here 18 years ago. I wonder what treasures I will find?
Every year I threaten her indoors that I will order a skip and just chuck everything but then the car season starts and it gets forgotten.
Here for a good time not a long time!!
