We were forced to do ours a year ago when we had plumbing malfunction.... NIGHTMARE...We had boxes going back to the children s early school days. Youngest is forty next year.The access to the attic is via a fairly small hatch. We spent nearly two weeks filling an old plastic suit case and lowering it up and down on a nylon tow rope....why did we keep it all? Never again... but it was a sad wrench to see it all go. Think the kids will be pleased not to have to to clear it when we we move on.

Hmm. Our loft needs a declutter. I'm sure it will just get shifted to the garage as you're bound to find a use for whatever you declutter.
