That's a lovely photo SFG.. +1 Besides the lovely picture it is also impressive to see how much a small change makes the overall impression so special. In your case, the brass wheel locks accentuate the black very beautifully.

Yesterday on a small 40 km tour outside Cologne. One of my favorite places on the small local route. Here we had seen with the whole family also in autumn the lunar eclipse (In Cologne it is too bright for that). I noticed in a good mood how yesterday the sunset was a bit later than a week ago.

Just a few miles today to the local garage for the newspaper. A bit of drizzle, but not much traffic.

I plan to scrape off my Austrian & Swiss vignettes come new year. One resolution I might keep.

Took her to Twycross Zoo yesterday and then off to the Shuttleworth Collection today for their Engineering Workshop day.

I quite like the patina of old vignettes etc. It's part of the driver/car history although the rule is to only put on the genuine ones and not simply browse eBay..
@TBM - Shuttleworth is always good inside the workshops. Missed it this year, though.

I have to renew vignettes this year due to change of no plate. But the Grossglockner one is a fixture.

30 odd miles to Castleton yesterday with eldest daughter & 80 miles today to Ashbourne with Mrs M
So that's 3081 miles from delivery in June to today, in the new 3.7 and it's loosening up nicely
