Trip to Scarborough early Thursday morning for family event. Returned today via Hull. A tad blustery keeping open road speeds down on first part of journey (30 mph limit on Humber bridge!) but relatively light traffic gave short journey time.

Engine loosening up nicely. K & N filter element gives lovely induction roar above 4000 rpm. Still averaging over 30 mpg 😃

Nice runout to the guitar shop at Stevenage. Just looking (and playing). Warm and bright weather.

Took my brother for his first ever trip in a Morgan. Just a 45 min drive, via Aberaeron, but he seemed quite impressed with it, despite the "firm" suspension!

Fitted a new clutch cable, took the roof off, and had a really nice drive around the area. New cable has made such a difference.

Maybe I'd better let him have another go! He is an MX5 driver though...

Yes! Finally, after four barren weeks - Gt Dunmow, Thaxted, Gt Sampford, Finchingfield, Great Bardfield (where Bill Langley introduced himself), then Great Saling, Felsted and home.
