US$ 43,750.00 what a bargain in for that type of car...

I thought this represented exceptional value

1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible

But looking at the auction history of these cars ALL the prices seem very low.

If you keep up the basic maintenance I'm told these can be great reliable cars.

I like them too OZ, under- rated and mostly unloved in UK. There are several coupes lying around in my area, but they all rot from the bottom up, any I’ve seen are too far gone to be worth the bother.

The convertible is very rare here and doubt there could me many left worldwide, if it’s a good as it looks, it’s a bit of a bargain. Not much servicing done though and 15” wheels look tiny on a car that size.

I thought this was cracking good value but will explain why it did not reach reserve. Looks in great condition with the same engine as the old Morgan Plus8

1993 TVR

ewn, one of our local car club members has a hard top version in the same colour configuration. Looks & drives magnificently and purchased at a good price. Rust and lack of maintenance are the enemy but a good "fine climate" example I think would be a great find.

I suspect there may be an after auction deal to be done here. Still represents value around that price.

That is in stunning condition inside and underneath someone could end up with a very nice car indeed.

p.s. That is one hell of an exhaust manifold arrangement isn't it ?
