[img] http://www.101club.org/gallery/displayimage.php?album=61&pos=2[/img] Can seat more than 2 though! As for the Road Fund License - not looking forward to that on Piggy next year - 3 months too new so £425 please! Perhaps I should go back to looking at MGBs and classic Minis... Cheers,
Graham (G4FUJ)

G O O D N E W Sthey want to make a mini MINI Armbrecht: [..]
Ich kann Ihnen nur empfehlen die nächsten Monate genau zu verfolgen.(Andreas will translate ) maybe then, Simon has to admid he loves the latest MINI's because he can fit is marvelous , but very TALL body behind the steeringwheel

Stephen, My cousin, now a retired airline pilot, at someithing like 6' 7" tall (2.0066m) used to drive an original (1960s) Mini. He followed that with an MG Midget - don't know how, even I had problems with those unless in bare feet... Cheers,

Never tried one Stephen, though I do see a race version at Prescott occasionally and I believe there is to be a big Marcos gathering at the same vehue in 2011.
I'd like to try one of the new ones, just for interest...
Cheers,

Forget Smarties and Minis...my dear wife has just bought herself a Toyota IQ....no road tax....60plus to the gallon....an absolute delight to drive and much easier to park than my Volvo estate.

Have you ever wondered what would happen to the occupant of a very mini car in a front and rear end shunt...... very thin sandwich. I like to have a bonnet in front and a boot to the rear, and I think that this modern trend to try to make everything smaller is dangerous, unsafe where cars are concerned and stupid to the inth degree. Crumple zones have to have something in which to compress into.
If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are finished?

Murray's T27 has also passed said frontal impact without cabin intrusion. However, a controlled environment is not real life and there's a reason big Mercs/Volvos etc. are so highly regarded. In the real world they stop you from being seriously injured. An iQ may receive a 5* rating but it would come off second best against a 4x4, let alone something bigger.
