Great write up - it gets better - it really does. If you have a friendly local pub see if you can scrounge a couple of old bar towels - or go to the Black Sheep brewery at Masham and buy a couple - when washed they are ideal for mopping mirrors, windscreens leaks etc. Better than microfibre cloths for this - after all if they are made to soak up beer they will soak up most of what you get in a Morgan - although not had to use it on nervous passengers yet!

Congratiulations! Just the right decision! After getting my fourth Moggy (also a +4) this summer and driving them for over 30 years I can tell you: It‘s even getting better and better! 😉

Lovely write up. It only gets better.
You will soon get the hang of Morgan essentials. A towel is a must.
I also keep a micro fibre cloth under the drivers seat for mirror cleaning and (mostly) drying the inside of the windscreen when driving in the rain hood down.

FW you have perfectly encapsulated what I am hoping will happen for me in 2 months and 1 day, and have painted that mental picture so eloquently. It really made it feel that we were in the car with you. She/it looks so beautiful- congratulations on such a fantastic day and I am so glad it went so well for you. Thank you for sharing the emotion of it all HB

Great write up and post, enjoyed that
Did you take the Mog on that incredibly bumpy road near you, I think (might be wrong) it’s the top road from East Morton to Silsden?, a real suspension tester over a series of roller coaster dips

Interestingly there is a very bumpy road which is quite long near us and even 'modern' suspensions get badly caught out which i'm quite pleased about !

Near me we have the coast road going into Southport The road is subsiding into the dunes leaving a series of undulating dips I passed another Mog on the road at full bounce and realised it was Matty the mechanic from Lifes Motors testing a newly installed Suplex kit
