As a matter of pure academic interest, has any taken/passed/failed their driving test in a Morgan.
I know that test examiners have the right to refuse cars that they don't care for for one reason or another.

Sadly no. I took mine in a ruddy great Citroen DS Safari and passed first time. My first drive in a Morgan was the test run in the car I bought. Love at first sight is real!

All passed first time: Yamaha FS-E at 16 (1974) Honda CB125 at 17 Driving school Ford Escort at 17 HGV1 some time in my 20s (can't be rsed to look that one up)
My car and bike tests were originally on the same day, but the bike I had borrowed (from the then RAC/ACU training scheme) - a BSA Bantam turned out to be out of MoT, so the bike test had to wait a few months.

Driving test in Mk1 escort at 17, driving school car. I remember the conversation with the examiner after he passed me. Commented on good points like no blocking side roads if stopped etc. He did say I approached junctions/bends a bit fast but was in full control. While sitting doing the signs test with the picture book he asked what speed I would drive along the road ahead of us. 30 was my answer as it was a residential street. He replied he would do 40! I didn’t argue!
