OldenCars is a new business that wants to be the AirBnB for classic cars. It's a reasonable idea. I've used AirBnB and had some fabulous holidays. We have a team of people who share our dog via BorrowMyDoggy which works extremely well.
There's a thing in the T&Cs about the service being for cars valued up to £40,000
I have no association with OldenCars - it sounds like a reasonable idea.

God would have to get on his knees and still be told "no chance ". I was at a large classic car show last summer . Spotted one yob bloke giving a classic car owner hell telling him he should let him get in and try it . Coming out with "whats the point of a car show if you cannot get in them he shouted. The owner gave back as much as he got and more . A few year ago I was up at the crack of dawn to park on the field at a classic car show , as it has huge trees all the way around . Been wise to the tree sap I wanted to park in the middle of the field away from trees. After a while a young well dressed chap walked over and asked a few questions . Then leaned on the bonnet with his hand , I have notices saying don't touch . I asked him to move it . He took no notice so was asked again telling him "your had contains a mild acid to kill germs remove it " He replied "I am a doctor " To which I said " If you don't remove it you are going to need a bloody doctor " He got the hint and shot away what a snob .
I don't touch other peoples cars .

As it happens there was a letter in Honest John's column in the Daily Telegraph only yesterday on this very subject. He makes a number of cogent reasons why you should never lease or lend you car. Worth reading.
I`ve taken people out in mine and to a prom as well - great fun - but I`ve driven and never charged or even taken petrol money - you have to be careful with insurance matters. Police were stopping cars at a school prom recently - I slowed down to let them check everything but they saluted and waved me through saying that I looked honest. I took my daughter to her wedding in my mog and she was upstaged at the church when a voice shouted out " Will the lady in white please move so I can photograph the car!". By the way - it is up to the individual but I am happy to let people touch and sit in my Morgan - but only if I am there. It helps to spread the joy and I have a small bag with detailer, cleaning wipes and microfibres in to clean off residue and fingerprints - well worth it in my opinion to see the joy - especially on childrens` faces. Also several adults who have sat in are now Morgan owners. I do not think folks should try to get in without asking though - that is sheer bad manners.
More than happy to offer rides / lifts etc - me driving and to let people look around when I am there. As to unsupervised access then no.
Management does drive it though. She has driven it competitively at the DonMog grass autotest and car trial events. Looking for an excuse to stop that though since she got a better score than I did one year!
