I've been looking for a good socket to fit. Thanks for the Suters link. As for power drain to the torch.... fit a switch thats activated when glovebox is opened/closed? As in a fridge light. Mind you.... that asks the ever needling question... does the fridge light go out when door is closed?

Forgot one small improvement and at the same time a question:
Does Your Morgans, like mine (+4 MY 2009), also only one horn?
The factory mounts only one of the originally "paired" fanfar klakson (high and low frequency), although the wiring is prepared for the pair. Is this to lower production costs? Not really the right item... You can see on the mounted exemplar whether it has high or low frequency tone (it is even written on the body "high" or "low").
I disliked the "castrated" tone of only one horn and have purchased the another one with responding frequency (must be opposit of the mounted one). The problem only is, that these horns are sold only as a pair and it needs some internet searching or in scrap yards to find the right one. Otherwise a new set must be bought.
But the horn has now a sound sound!

Hello DIY-Morganeers, here a small, but helpful improvement, using the hoods Tenax-fasteners to fix the folded hood ends on additonal Tenax pins inside the car. No flattering more, and it stays on place also when driving faster. Replacing the original side-trim screw by a tenax fastener 1. Replacing the original side-trim screw by a tenax fastener 2. The flattering hood “ears”...... ....are now well fixed, even a strong wind cannot remove them from their position. And it looks tidy. Peter

I completely agree! In my other cars, I changed or installed beside a DIN 12V socket and all devices I am using in the car have got the responding plug. This is save solution. For use in other cars (e.g. rented cars) I have an adaptor DIN<->cigarett-lightener socket, Just a short cable. I got curious and found this source on the internet RoadPro 12V and 24V Plugs, sockets and adaptors The only thing is that I can not find a DIN 4165 to USB converter. Given that most mobile phones and some other devices now use a USB socket for charging (5v) I am surprised that it does not seem to be available.

Does Your Morgans, like mine (+4 MY 2009), also only one horn? Our Roadster 100 (2009) has the pair of horns fitted. It would not surprise me that in your and other cases they were splitting the pair over two cars.? By the way, Peter, I like the extra Tennex pegs used to hold the roof ends. I use a loop of Velcro to hold ours. I see a mod comming on. I changed the back press studs on the body and Mohair Toneau to Tennex because the Toneau was so difficult for me to fit. Even then both sides popped off during travel. The Tenex fasteners fixed that problem
