As a 'newbie' to all of this, and now the proud owner of a Plus 4 (pretty standard specification from the factory), I am very interested to hear what is the general consensus from the wizen community about the 'Top 10' modifications or accessories to do, or to add to the car, to make it more drivable, performance orientated, enjoyable, personal, comfortable, useful etc etc!

I would say drive it as it is for year or two. Once you've got a good few thousand miles under your belt, then you'll have a much better idea of how you want your car to be. But if you haven't got one yet, get a John Taylor storm cover.

All of the above plus stainless quarter panel covers, stainless chassis rail covers (the cross member in front of the seats), stainless door checks, and throttle bodies (depending on the model).

If it's a fly by wire throttle, transfer the roller to yhe other side so heel and toeing is possible.
Add Roger's bump stops to rear suspension.

Don't panic had mine 32 year and still things pop into my head must do this, should have done that syndrome. The main thing is enjoy it .

Wholly agree with Tim H and JTL particularly with regard to the storm cover: great in wet conditions but very useful against bird droppings and tree sap, especially if you have a mohair hood or tonneau cover.

I understand you very well. It's a lot of fun to equip, enhance or beautify your Morgan. But if you allow yourself a little time, you can appreciate, classify and enjoy the result much better in a year or even in two years.

Personally, and later on I would start with the smaller things, e.g. brake reaction bars, maybe a K&N filter insert, high octane fuel, later then adjustable shock absorbers, etc. I would never start with single throttle valves, that would be rather something for the last measures.

An honest question, are you satisfied and can you enjoy your car as it is. Or are there already areas that you would like to change because something is bothering you? If not, take it easy and just enjoy her.

If you play music, imagine you've been playing guitar for a year only, you can't really appreciate what distinguishes a 1961 ES335 from a 2018 Indonesian Epiphone. That's just a comparison, and I respect your desire for development and change very well.
