The car was serviced prior to me taking delivery and whilst the wheels may not have been off during Kenny's ownership, I know they definitely came off prior to collection because the wheel centres were all changed under warranty.
I cleaned and sealed the brake callipers whilst I had the wheels off and no sign of any leak. Plus the marks pictured are at different points on the inner rim with nothing else untoward in that area. Very strange.

I've got a factory tour in early Feb. Do you think they'll take kindly to me turning up with the offending wheel.... rofl

Must add however that we do not check for E markings on headlamps as part of the UK MOT test. There is nothing about it in the current inspection manual ie - no failure for being non-E marked.

There may well be something about it in the "construction and use" regulations which may well be the cause of some confusion?.

Agree, I know quite a few Mog owners who have swapped their headlamps for these type of aftermarket lamps with the LED’s at the bottom and non are E marked and it’s never been the slightest of issue when getting an MOT

I certainly wouldn’t waste one millisecond worrying about the E mark

As (I believe) this is a two year old car that you have purchased from a Morgan dealer, I think your recourse is back to that dealer for the paint damage to be rectified.

When you say the wheel centres were changed under warranty, do you mean the brass spinner nuts?

What was wrong with them Bob?

No it isnt. The wheels on both my Merc and the F type have the same issue - cosmetic on the outside face of the wheel but basic on the inside ie no gloss and different colour. Same thin under the bonnet, inside the boot. The difference is that the paint inside the wheel hasnt been applied with a loo brush as MMC obviously do

I put it down to efforts to save weight. ooo

I drive my P4SS in all situations in a "spirited" manner ..yes even in the dark...

Is it me or am I alone in finding the original headlights more than ok for night time driving ?

I have fitted small led running lights in my front spoiler just for max visibility.

Andy, thanks for clarifying the E mark issue, there are a lot of urban myths out there

No, I've always found them adequate too!
