A further ludicrous pastiche of an historically significant model. The MMC are in considerable danger of disappearing up their own ar*e if they continue producing rubbish like this. I once told Charlie that he was about to produce a replica of his Company's own car and if he wanted to move his company forward he should produce a completely new concept that looked like a modern SLR but with state-of-the-art underpinnings. I got the wonderfully tautological reply that he was fed up with my "stick in the mud, head in the sand, ostrich-like mentality!!" rofl Hmmm, took him 15 years to think of the Eva GT which is exactly what I had in mind. They cannot go on producing 'limited editions' of everything they make. That way lies ultimate oblivion. 'Plus Four Supersports'? Rowlocks mad

I think I'll wait and see. It has obvious attractions but if you look closely ask this question- is it REALLY that good for the money.
Let's not forget, what you are NOT buying here is a car with an engine which has bee seriosuly reworked. OK, from all the info the top end/head have been played with but it's still on what, to me at least, is a fairly standard Ford bottom end
We all know the old story, " do lots of fancy stuff to the head and top end and then suddenly the short engine can't take it and everything goes boom"

I think that the MMC is is getting a bit daft with this Limited Edition thing. Particularly on the trad wher the LE concept is likely to mean you end up with a car that is less individual then if you specified it yourself.

But this thing has a few things going for it. I believe getting a hotter engine is a first since I have been taking interest in the MMC, I would also like to see some close-ups of the undertray.

By looking at the photo I doubt that this prototype sports 205/65/15 tyres. They rather look like low-profile tyres.

This brings me to my question: Will 205/65 fit the wires on a Plus 4 and will the still fit under the wings? I love the look of the Roadster Sport with its "fat" wheels.
I might go for a set of tyres but I'm not yet prepared in investing in a new set of wires. Anyone with experience on this dimension?

Same goes for the 4/4: Looking at contemporary pictures of TOK 258, I'm always amazed by the width of the wheels and the flush fit with the wings. The poor 4/4 Sport on the other hand looks very humble on its small tyres.

I think the pictured is photoshopped,
the way you can see IN the cabin,
but not see the spokes in detail...
tires don't look fat enough

I'd have guessed around £50k, other than the decals I like the look of it - though I'm not in the market at the moment, and I don't blame MMC for milking the back catalogue - any company with a heritage from Rolex watches to Barbour jackets does the same, -I passed the new Alvis showrooms today, a new old Alvis -yours for £170k, suddenly the Mog looks good value. The important thing whether its Morgans [or even JE LRs]- is the person who writes the cheque happy? Anyone else is entitled to an opinion but not much besides
