Yes I remember them - that was the 2015 event. In 2017 there was a similar aero-engined, chain drive monster in the hotel car park - but we understand it didn't bother with silly things like a trailer - it just drove from Dieppe! I shudder to think of how much petrol that took.

George, thanks for the math lesson... smile Now I just need to remember this. My dear old departed dad always said that a day was a good day when you learned something new! I do miss him dearly. Oct 13th '08 was a sad day for the Lockwoods... frown He was 11 days short of making it to 95.

Sorry to digress a bit.

So the MG M-Type weighs less than a M3W, interesting. But with the body being mainly wood with fabric, not too surprising I guess. 42" wide and wheelbase of 78". It truly was a Midget.

I hope you all have a great 2019 Montlhery Autodrome adventure this year. Hope the weather is better than in '17.
