My 4/4 is an 07. It has full bumper's front and back, and they match the width of the car.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

For me, bumper bars suit an old fashioned Sunday pick Nic drive. Over riders look cleaner and give to a more modern look. Naked with spoiler much more sportier look .
Choices , choices fortunately all yours.

Having accidentally reversed my (full bumper) 4/4 into a low bollard when I was on a trip to Brittany, I can thoroughly recommend full bumpers. The only damage was a slightly bent bumper mounting bracket. Without; I am sure that both the rear panel and rear wing would have suffered.

My 1978 +8 had bumpers that were narrower than the car. Looked a bit odd. My roadster had full width bumpers and I caught the edge of the front one on my engine hoist when I was reversing out of the garage. Very unpleasant and bent the inner frame. Dealer said to me "wouldn't have happened if you had overriders!" I felt that it wouldn't have happened if I could drive backwards properly! My 4/4 has overriders which I like but deep down I prefer the look of bumpers. Nick

I always felt very vulnerable when parking the 4/4 Sport with no bumpers - both my Plus8's have had full bumpers I prefer the look of them.

This is a problem with a long bonneted car. I've done it my self with only a scratch. But without a bumper it's just as easy to catch the wing.

Thanks for all the advice. In the end I’ve opted for overriders. Now just a 4 month wait till delivery!

Hi HB57 - I feel your pain. My 110 +4 starts being chiselled out like a fine marble statue in Firenza in week 6 and hopefully available for collection on 15th March after one or two extras sorted by the dealer. Counting down the hours. Ps I went for overriders too... HB
