The percentage of meets & trips threads on this forum seems to be getting greater. Is it time to consider placing them on their own separate forum?

Hear hear! I'll second that. I did once suggest a page where we could view forthcoming events chronologically but was told that it would take too much of someone's time to set up & manage. Fair enough I guess but would be jolly handy. Dealership breakfast meets could be included along with the TM gatherings and various upcoming motoring events etc

Ditto anything to do with M3W's which I feel now warrant a separate section as they are of no interest to me and I am sure that the converse is true for many 3W owners.

Hi TimG,
As you can see I am organizing a trip to the S&S factory. As long as I have been a member I have seen notices of meets for the M3W listed in this forum and I just followed suit. I did not realize there is a separate “ Meets and Events “ forum listed under Talk Morgan Members section and just found that out now. I will redirect any further communications for the S&S trip to that forum.

It's not really surprising the meets and events here are M3W based.

Hi TimG,

I did not realize there is a separate “ Meets and Events “ forum listed under Talk Morgan Members section and just found that out now. I will redirect any further communications for the S&S trip to that forum. There are a number of events which tend to be M3W only - eg the Albert Ball and Jungfrau Treffen. As such I suggest that it makes sense that these stay in the Three Wheeler forum. General Morgan events, such a breakfast meets, dealer days etc, sit better in the Meets and Events forum.

Think we Three Wheeler owners are very happy with how the Three Wheeler section currently operates and, personally, I wouldn’t want to change a thing. It’s great; it’s not broken; and it doesn’t need fixing, unlike our cars!!!

I agree with the Meets and Events for the 4 wheelers and it makes sense using the Three Wheeler section for your events. I personally enjoy reading the M3W adventures especially of a touring kind, the mechanical misfortunes also make for a very interesting read.
