That Alvis is nice. I could be tempted by one of those little Austins.
As for the "Aeromax", looking at the photos at first I thought it had been pranged - poor panel fit, sidepipes are not equal, no speedometer poor interior finish on trans tunnel and so on. then I cam to the BMW V10, and laughed.
Some years ago (and I expect he may be along sometime) Cerealsurfer mentioned (here on TM) a V10 Aero that was up for sale - various panels in carbon fibre etc. I suspect this may be the same car, moved on a little further. TBH it looks a bit (?lot) of a mess...

Yes, I rather like the Austin Doctor's Coupé. Ditto the Ford Model A with dickey seat.

Thinking about it, and having another look at the photos, I think you're right about it being the car Cereal Surfer mentioned.

Very odd - 09 reg plate ? Is someone trying to use the ID of a written off Max using the S1 you mention? As you say, a lot of non-factory elements, most odd.

Jeez, that's a right mess, isn't it?

See this thread.

Beamish Morgan/The Car Barn could tell you more about it as it was in their showroom for several weeks.

I don't think that Brightwells should be calling it an Aeromax.

To be fair, in their description, the clues are there, "Unique one-off Aero 8-based special; 500bhp BMW S85 V10 engine; AeroMax coupe coachwork; interesting history; awesome!" but it should surely be described as a Morgan Aero Special or some such.

I don’t like being disparaging about someone’s car, but that leaves me with nothing to say about that Aero, it’s just horrible.
