Maybe going over my limit today on posting. 2018 Roadster have been through the State Police inspection, registering and getting temporary plates. Went this morning to have a Maryland State Safety inspection done. They were up able to inspect the car because it is not in their data base or did they have any specs to compare to. I need the following: it can just be from an existing car or the factory, but must be correct.
Need brake or drum new specs and discard specs. The ball joint or kingpin depending on what is on the car, need horizontal and vertical play.

Hi Ed, Kingpins are nominally one inch (24.5mm) diameter. Front brake discs 280mm diameter, rear drums 220mm. Note that UK type approval document for latest 5 link variant shows this regarding maintenance: 16. ACCESS TO VEHICLE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
Section not applicable to cars produced in 'Small Series'I would expect therefore that generic wear limits would apply during testing especially regarding king pin/bush given the relatively unique sliding axle front suspension i.e. wear may not be detectable with suspension unloaded. I believe what is needed is rotor, front brake pads, rear brake shoe thickness. Also the vertical and horizontal dimension of the play in the kingpins

I think if your authorities are asking for vertical play limits with the kingpins they have not taken on board just how this relatively unique suspension system works.
Can your dealer not help with the other stuff?
