What makes you think it wasn't? As mentioned earlier, the current owner bought it from the factory after the programme was made.

What a waste to do that drive with the hood up when you can only see through the letter box of a windscreen. I guess they had to do that to be able to record their conversation? It has to be really wet for me to put mine on!

Christopher Timothy looks good for 78 though

I’m not surprised he wasn’t as comfortable as Davison being older but don’t forget he got his limp for a very serious car accident back in the late 70’s

Others have mentioned the lack of hood down driving, I have a hunch that that was so the camera and recording equipment didn’t get wet

There was a quick flash of the windscreen in one shot showing all the camera and recording devices stuck to the inside of the screen at both sides which must have made it very difficult to drive as the screen is small enough already

Go pro on the bonnet didn't mind the rain!

Closing the side screen over the outside flap of the roof had me shaking my head.

Probably the main reason mog owners drive topless, as it's a bit of a fiddle to close and hold the outer part outside while inside closing the door. wink

I've cured that using magnets.... I'll post my solution if anyone's interested.

The registration suggests that it was one of the factory hire cars or demonstrator. I may be wrong but I’m sure Ian or Graham can confirm.

It was brilliant product placement, and can only be good for Morgan.

Yes it was - normally fitted with the Citroen 602cc engine - so this was a bit quick I would think.
