I also don’t like some ofthe Razz that Liberty have introduced.
Even under Bernie things were image related but that is to be expected because of the amount of money in the “sport”.
It is moving towards corporate and celebrity attendees more.
The FIA to F1 relationship is a behind the scenes bone of contention too. Who holds sway?
The tech side and complicated specs and rules make things tough for teams, especially the mid grid and back ones.
The occasional duels and charges coupled to tactics sometimes make a race good but we could do with more. The tyre rules help change processions into races when circumstances change.
I would love to see some races where drivers draw lots for cars as in Olympic Modern Pentathlon horse draws. It will never happen but the Top Gear F1 driver runs were close.

Yes Bernie wore two hats (and probably many more we did not see) which allowed mutual respect with the teams. It never fixed the fighting but with the collective bloodline of that sport you never would!

He had raced, run a team and then promoted the sport so could walk the fence with some authority. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the new relationship.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I watched most, but not all the races last year and have been a follower of F1 since the days of John Watson!

Will the tweaks to the rules help? I'm not certain.

Liberty Media seem to be trying to make the racing more competitive and have expressed their concern about the pay TV lock out in many countries. But they are between a rock and a hard place as key circuits threaten to pull out because of the escalating fees previously agreed. Many of the new circuits are in places where either a form of Government or sponsor picks up most of the bills. So will we lose Silvrstone?

Yeah we’ll see what they do. Bernie sold the UK tv rights before Liberty took over. Until Liberty made an effort there wasn’t even going to be a highlight package, they have there own channel in most parts of the world.

Yippee, It's almost here. I had a long 'mail from Ferrari with a video of the launch of the new car. The every lovely Vicky B-H was on the stage and introduced all sorts of bods, brilliant.

I do hope that the American ownership of F1 will not spoil it, as others have said, some of their ideas are cringe worthy but at least they are trying. It's a shame again that money has spoken re live television, as if there isn't enough money in F1 already.
SWMBO has dug out my Ferrari T-shirt, hat and sunnies, I have ordered in a couple of cases of Borolo so let battle commence.

No
I think I’m ambivalent and not fussed either way so disinterested will do.

Neptune made a good point about the selling off of the TV rights and the impact it has had on audiences. Surely the best option for Liberty, after getting the rights back under their own roof, is to do their own live streaming. Goodwood is an excellent example and the Bathurst 12 Hour this year was another. Why let someone else (especially Murdoch) make a mint out of your sport while pi****g off the base, the real fans?

Great to read of TMers lining up behind their favourite drivers and teams. Should be a good season. Looking forward to Melbourne and crikey won't there be some pressure on Daniel!

I see Liberty trying to offload it fairly soon as I don't believe they really get F1 and all its nuances, like him or not Bernie new the game inside out and could bang heads together when necessary to keep the show on the road, viewing numbers at an all time low in NZ now.
