...the best think about these mods is that you've not only improved the aesthetics under the Morgan bonnet but also the performance; to my mind, that makes these mods all the more worthwhile. Exactly Simon - it not only looks good, but that new induction piping must improve performance too. Absolutely, now all we need to do is see it put to good use sometime! Now when's the 'Lap of Wales' being organised
Cheers

Possibly, depending on dates. I already have one major Mog trek this year...

Gerwyn, Very tidy, indeed! Is that some form of heat insulation you have around the heater box(Photo 1)?? What is it and what benefits have you achieved? Did you consider any form of heat shield to try and keep the cockpit cooler?
Cheers! Robbie, The 'cooking foil' was already in place when I acquired the car- all I've done is clean it up a tad. It must be readily available though because when we wre thinking of using the heater box as an air collector for the induction side, Mike D said something along the lines of, " If we need to take it all off to have a good look, no problems can always renew it" I don't seem to get any major problem with cockpit overheating ( well, you wouldn't in Wales, would you! As to the whole thing generally, it really is a compromise. We tried numerous ways of setting something up- ITG kits, BMC kits etc., removing the heater impellers and using the heater box ( Many thanks to Cereal who came up with a good version of this) I really am thinking now that next year I'll go over to individual throttle bodies (Jenvey I think) regards, G

When will we know the dates for this Welsh jaunt then????
I think that the heat shield is standard now - my Roadster has it.
