just looking at his site, his products seem to be well thought out. I wonder where he ties into the oil line. Also if there is a thermostat control for the oil flow and if there is a fan assist.
I did consider buying that set up, but as I had some of the parts sitting around I decided to just put mine together myself.

I did consider buying that set up, but as I had some of the parts sitting around I decided to just put mine together myself. Take a look at the instructional video. Pretty sure he goes into detail. No fan but there is a thermostat. Claims operating temp never exceeds 186F, even sitting in traffic in 100F heat. Spoken to him and I'm tempted. FTY, he will attend the 13-16 June rally. He's agreed to teach a session on this subject and perform free installs on-site for anyone who buys a kit there. I have absolutely no financial stake in this.

saw the video, very well thought out. I did put mine on with a fan assist, but I also realize that is only helpful at low speeds. Let me see.... the parkway... usually around 35 mph.

He's agreed to lecture on this subject and perform free installs on-site for anyone who buys a kit there. I have zero stake in this. Same offer is open to other vendors with clever accessories that can add smiles per miles.

Why not just mount a small conventional oil cooler complete with a fan under the bonnet where there is plenty of room for it and also plenty of volume for the heat to dissipate into.
I do not have the MMC cooling pack because I was not happy with the appearance of their offering, so instead I have mounted a small (approx. 5 inch diameter) fan behind each cylinder and I can manually switch these on and off as needed.
I have also fitted a dual oil pressure/oil temperature gauge so that I know when the oil is getting pretty warm and can switch the cooling fans on as needed.
If the oil cooler and fan assembly as mentioned above was mounted in the return oil pipe from the engine, the fan on the oil cooler could be wired to come on when the main cooling fans behind the engine are switched on.
The oil cooler could be plumbed in with an oil thermostat so that the oil will not pass through the cooler until it reaches 80°C.
This arrangement with the ability to switch all 3 fans on and off as required whilst being able to see the oil temperature at any time would seem to me to be the ideal set-up.

I think we have discussed all of those options, and you are right, there is not just one solution. Looking at the cooler Emil has done, it looks like he is using 1/2ID lines to the cooler. I do wonder where he got his bypass. I like the set-up.
Goggle is great, I see several offered by JEGS and also summit
