I find Uniroyal “the rain tyre” are best for grip in the wet - most any tyre is ok in the dry - it’s wet grip I crave!!!

Thinking of new rubber
What tyres do MMC put on the Roadsters at the moment?
Stewart, my Roadster 5link was built with the ZV7's but that was on alloys (wires are marginally wider)

As I recall the tyres are removed over the inside rim rather than the conventional way.

I changed from the Avons to Bridgestone Turanza T005. Fantastic Tyre also in wet and dry conditions.

Well new tyres fitted this aft and I popped in to see the fine chaps at Lifes Motors as well and took the Mog out for a blast
Unhappily or happily the new tyres feel exactly like the ones they replaced
It seemed such a shame to replace my tyres as they were in terrific condition and with my cleaning regime, they looked new
These new tyres look grubby and I’ve got black marks where the old weights have come off
Oh well!
A bit of cleaning and tarting up to do

Wonder if the usual tyre “sheds” can be relied upon to fit tyres to a Morgan safely and without damage. Any recommendations? Other than that it’s mail order and try to get them fitted at a local guy
