I know of another Kuwaiti citizen who has the 3 wheeler virus. He drove his 18,000km over Europe and the Middle East since he bought it late 2017. Do you know him ? Or maybe that's you ?

I would agree with most Morgan models, but the used M3W market take a huge hit from depreciation...especially the earlier models. No car hold its value fully until/if it becomes collectible and begins to rise back. Most Morgans stay relatively flat from what I have seen in the long run. Much like the lotus elise market, buy it...drive it...sell it for near the same.
That may have been true a year or so back. However having just checked on Pistonheads, Autotrader and MMC, there is no M3W listed in the UK at less than I paid for my Nov 2013 car. So my depreciation has been nil over 5 years  If you want a new car and plan to keep it in the UK or outside of the EU then I'd suggest you move quickly to snap up an EU3 whilst MMC can still get them through IVA. I think the hardening of the Three Wheeler market is more down to the interest that the dealers are taking in it and that market is self sustaining as one dealer will look at the retail price others are offering their stock for and price up accordingly. I cannot see that 2012/13/14 cars are ever worth more than the £30k that dealers routinely ask, even with the miserable 3 months warranty they put on it. I would guess that the buy in price is more likely to be in the low £20k's, which should be the price to buy one privately, if one could be found. As far as worrying about finding a nearby dealer, frankly they are just meccano kits and any competent spanner twirler should be able to fix them, spares on the other hand will have to come from Malvern.

Dealer convinced me I should upgrade the timing sprocket so I bought the kit. Installing it seems a bit iffy since I don't have any special S&S tools for holding sprockets for loosening the fitting bolts. I asked a local bike shop about doing cam drive work on an S&S engine. He said sure, but he doesn't use special tools. He uses a rattle gun. Hmm. I have an air impact wrench. Maybe I'll try his method. Nothing like good old brute force, eh?

PaulJ, Recent prices realised on Bring a Trail seem to back up your view on depreciation. None of the recent 12/13 sales came close to your 30,000 sterling threshold and the 14's just scraped over. A 16 missed the cut and the 17's slipped over by only a few grand.

My 2012 car has every update now and I love it , nothing wrong with an updated early car that's been loved and cared for.
In fact my car I believe with everything done is a better looking and performing car than the new euro 4 high rise effort.
Just my opinion

Having had my 2012 since December of 2012 I can say this: I have broken most everything under warranty. All of the upgrades have been done. Including an entire chassis replacement. I have logged over 45,000 miles and have few regrets.
If it rains, I get wet.
I just broke it out of winter storage today and drove a few miles to check things out and top off the fuel with fresh ethanol free high test. I can say that this car still delivers smiles from me and all onlookers. It must be a Sign Of Spring!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
