I'm after a bonnet strap but the MMC straps are out of stock and they have no idea when they are due back (Black with Chrome buckle - £105).

I don't want a double buckle as unless it's precisely centred it will disturb my OCD.

HOE do a single for about £178, but I've seen that Holden do one, for a more reasonable £115.

Any thoughts or experiences?

The MMC one has a nice buckle with the new Morgan logo although I didn’t think the quality of the leather with a felt backing was too great

I had one on my last Morgan

The Holden one and the HOE one looks to have better quality leather with sheepskin backing

Have you tried Melvyn Rutter and or Librands as well?

That's useful to know, thankyou.

MR only sell the MMC one, and Librands do the double buckle.

Not a bad idea, may have a look out.

I do have another unmolested /uncut identical strap in the vintage luggage cases.

Hi,

I fitted mine yesterday. Bought it online at Williams for 129.99 pounds.

Lo and behold:

I can't view the photo unfortunately (telling me I need to have a dropbox account) - is it a double buckle or single? Can only find doubles on their website.

To avoid any scratches, I installed paint protection film to the bonnet where the belt sits.
