Folks

My car has those humongous square headrests that Im sure I will want to swap out for the smaller oval type at some point.

What are my options ?

I could have a fair stab at making some but the bits that go into the seat, where would I get those ?

MGB headrests from the MGOC may fit and they may also be available through Moss Europe.

If you ever decide to change them for the more modern, smaller oval headrests, they will look great, but just don't expect your head to go anywhere near them, unless your neck is double jointed. In my opinion they are useless as they are, and I have removed mine, but my wife uses hers with a rather ugly neck roll in place and seems to like it.

Max5,Ill take a gander. ta
Paul, yep, Its purely a visual thing. Just not keen on the bricks !

Do we recon the oval type bar thing that slides down the seat is pretty much a standard size across a lot of seats, not just morgan ?

I rather liked the humongous square headrests on my last Morgan

The seat is much deeper so might not suit the newer slimmer oval ones but have a try

I believe the oval fittings are the same as old MG seats

Th fittings are British Leyland and were fitted across the range..

MGB, Midget, TR6, Dolomite Triumph 2000 etc etc

The later MG restraints are similar to the second generation Morgan restraints, and are available from specialists in leather.

The original square restraints are "Tombstones". I quite like them!

Hi Fuel.inj

I bought them from Williams Automobiles quite cheap on one of their weekend open days, as you can see I bought them in a magnolia colour, so I sent them all away to be recoloured in tan leather paint to match.
