How do all you Roadster owners keep control of these cars 😂 Sheer talent and skill 1, Gentle right foot 2, Large cajones (both of them) 3, Quick reactions

No doubt your wife demonstrates the same attributes when she drives it.

Hmmn, are cars really dangerous or is it the people? I have no comment on this partticular incident, but as a teenager who was handy with cars, I traded up over a couple of years, eventually obtaining a mid 70’s 911 turbo, the so called “widow-maker”. I drove it from the perspective that it was far better a car than I am a driver, and found it to be fine. I’ve also owned and driven all the Morgan range, most could outperform the average driver, we just need understand our ability and engage brain before right foot, then we’ll all be fine.

Hiwex......I suspect you are right. It is easy to overestimate your skills when the temptation of power is there! On a track it would be better but on public roads? Years ago it was less of an issue but these days not so. More traffic now for one thing. Yes you can “get a move on” but it must be done selectively and not to the limit. Why go that close?

I suspect there is a vast difference between the earlier 3 litre Roadsters and the later 3.7 litre cars. I was going to buy a 3 litre but they had just gone out of production and I considered the 3.7 too much for the car weight and chassis. Personally I think 200 HP or thereabouts is as much as I would want in a trad. I can get myself into as much trouble as I want with 180 HP I agree 100%. The 3L S2 Roadster we had was a very different animal to the 3.7L. I think 400 bhp would be the sensible limit for the Aero chassis.... Who wants sensible though?

This guy was driving through our village January last year (30mph zone) in his new Roadster, this was the result as he was coming out the over end into the 60mph zone. he ended up quite far out into the field. He said he didn't know how it happened. Too much right foot I recon

That picture still hurts to look at Craig - he must have been pretty sick. Around the 4th 3.7 we have been aware of running short of road on here during the last couple of years.

In the interests of fairness & equality, it's only a proportion of Morgans that have appeared on here in crashes of course. The factory had a crash with an Aero not long ago, there have been a smattering of ARP4 along with a few M3W's and an Aero chassied +8. Even calum suffered in his three wheeler. There was also the video of the trad pulling across the dual carriageway and getting shafted by the Peugeot. But it's easier to be a keyboard expert, though..
