Smart car thought Craig, you’ve made quite a few improvements....or farkles as Howard would say!!
The headrests did annoy me thought to the extent I just discarded them. They should be head restraints but in a shunt your head would be thrust pretty far back before hitting them and the damage would be done. I think it’s more the design of the seat back than the actual head restraint.

Dreadful sorry but I like them. Makes the seats look different & having had them on mine for 8 years find them useful & comfortable. Of interest to position them very slightly higher, I used a short length of “cable tidy” around the head restraint post. You can not see the “cable tidy” as it is below the location tab of the bolster.

Yes they do look much better but those weren’t the seats I was expecting

My last Mog which was a 2000 car had much thicker seats which suited the thick headrests

I didn’t realise they put the square headrests on the slimmer backed sport seats

Yes one could imagine that perhaps they were intended for these seats.

I once drove a car at Richard Thorne's which had headrests from a landrover. They were slim but much taller. They suited the mog and felt in a much better place somehow.

Craig, I didn't think your neck-rolls look that bad. Perfect colour match.
But while on the subject, what's the purpose of them? Presumably if you are rear ended your neck is prevented from going back so that your head can bend over at the neck and travel much farther back before hitting the restraint?

SFG, on mine especially for the passenger they allow you to rest your head on them, more like a headrest. They are quite soft, in that should you get rear ended they will allow your head to go back to the head restraint and hopefully slow that motion down.
However imho the restraints do need to be a bit further forward as it is quite a stretch, before your head touches them. Interestingly on my car the drivers one is further back than the passenger one, so some adjustment must be possible. Obviously the more upright you have the seat the closer they seem to be.

Icepack beat me too it SFG, but you could always ask your wife what she thinks, I believe she found them very comfortable when I took her out in my morgan last year
