I did a couple of these last year, have booked again for April 12th if anybody fancies a day out, ( and a chance to drive at the limit without risk to life and limb, or your pride and joy!)

I have considered doing this before but they get very mixed reviews and some very nasty comments.
I've got an 18 plate Plus 8 and last summer didnt reach the floor with the go peddle so would quite like to give it a go in a safe environment.
What exactly does the day consist of.
The down side is an hour and three quater hack down the A11, A14, A11 and M11 and then back again. Not the nicest of drives.

I've done it 5 or 6 times now in various cars, twice in my old Aero, it is on redundant tarmac at the airfield.
The day starts with a 90 deg left hand bend that you take at increasing speed, if you spin (most do) there is loads of run off, no danger of hitting anything (they have a speed camera so you know your turn in speed)
Next the group is split in two, to drive two sprint courses set out with cones.
Finally in the afternoon both courses are combined to form one course (approx 75 seconds from memory)
Only one car out at any time so unlike trackdays you won't get t boned by another car.
Im about 2 hours away, getting there is ok, but can be a bit of a drag travelling home round the m25 at 5pm on a Friday afternoon.
