My 3wheeler has been parked for a week and my garage constantly smells like gas.
I’ve put some UV dye into my gas tank and inspected all fuel lines around the fuel filter/pump/canister as well as fuel injectors - I cannot see a leak.
Do you guys have any ideas how to detect it?

I've had those symptoms which turned out to be a crack running through the weld on the tank front bracket.
The lower front of the tank was damp but could only be seen from underneath
A new tank is being fitted on Tuesday under warranty.

Hi PaulR, thanks a lot for the tip! I have the same crack :-( passenger side tank. Hope Morgan can address it in a timely manner :-)

Wow, that's taken some time, I thought it was going ot be done a while back. Hope to see you fully back on the road soon

I've never been off the road completely..I glued a patch over it...shouldn't really say that!

PaulR, what did you use to patch it? Did you do it from underneath the car?

I used a patch of 16G alloy and araldite 2 part epoxy with plenty of overlap.
Because it was the tank with the fuel pump once that was removed I could see the crack on the inside through the pump hole so glued it internally, but don't see why it wouldn't work externally.

Did you remove the tank from the car, or just the pump?
How hard is to remove the tank? I will contact Morgan here for a warranty claim, but I expect it will take a LONG time, so trying to see what my options are.

I had a weld failure in my +8 - right in the middle of the weld and impossible to see.... but it let out a very fine mist of fuel. Had to replace the whole tank.
