I like the car.
Shame it is outside my price limit.
The new chassis looks better in my view. It offers better interior space and visually it looks like a properly designed one compared to the previous ones with a”cobbled together” look of bits welded on.
I’d love to test it against a trad and more so versus the Plus8.
I’ll buy a lottery ticket....

I’m impressed! Good looking and it will go like stink! Also, reduced top louvres, so styling cues taken from Stanley?  Though at around 30cm wider than my 4/4 it would be a tight fit in my garage.

Good looking and it will go like stink!
Simon, the M140i goes like stink, but weighs 450kg more than the +6. It will go like a stabbed rat! The only problem with the M140i is that the chassis isn't up to the power, the +6 with a new chassis incorporating all the experience of the ex Lotus team will be brilliant and get the power down. I'll bet it is "real world" quicker than the Plus 8. I wonder if it has the trick exhaust rear box including valves, so it sounds amazing in Sports + mode?

Lovely car, but dont understand the direction that Morgan is taking. I understand they wouldnt have the ability to tool their own manual transmission, but going with the BMW engine because of this seems like a mistake. Im not a buyer of this car at this point in my life, but certainly wouldnt be putting it on some sort of "one day" list.
Would have much rather seen them use a souped up Ford V6, or a Yamaha tuned Toyota V6 as used within Lotus. Though, maybe Im not the market for this car and as such dont understand.

I would think the potential owners it's aimed at would expect an auto, and don't forget it's got a sort of semi-manual mode via paddles or gearstick, if you've ever spent hours in traffic jams crawling on & off the clutch in a Roadster  you'd like an auto option
