I have just had an email from Dan at Krazy horse.
The price i was quoted by MMc was £33800.
I paid £36,475 to include extra for additional work.
I have just been quoted a final price of 41,305.
I think Vat has been added to my export price. I have asked them to check.
How much is UK delivery, registration and six months tax?
Waiting with bated breath.

I just had a look at a 5 speeder on sale from Melvyn Rutter uk.
"Re-flashed ECU" Is this possible?
If it can be done, could save £900 over the cost of a new one.

John. Do you have a link to where this is mentioned as I can't see it on their website? The stock ECU can be reflashed but requires a MMC unlock code and needs to be carried out by a dealer. Over the years a few reflashes have been available, for example for the retrofit of the urban cooling for pre 2014 cars. I believe there is also a reflash for the first Euro 4 cars to "cure" idling and engine cutout issues. If you want to remap then unfortunately you do need to buy a new unlocked ECU from S&S (Krazy Horse or Garage 56 can help)

It is one of the elements of the Euro 3 appearance kit. If the Australian-style intake manifold is replaced with the Euro 3 version, MMC reflashes the ECU. I do not know if that is only a factory offer or whether dealers will also do it.

Hi John, I'd been looking at the older one  This is part of the optional Euro 3 "appearance" mods to a Euro 4 car and would be done by MMC. It'll still be a locked ECU. It's also worth noting that the wiring loom is different for EU3 and EU4 cars so if anyone has an Eu4 and wanted to go down the unlocked ECU route then they will need to check the configuration of the replacement ECU.

When Dan at KH set my car up on the rolling road, my standard MMC ECU was not locked.
