After a gap of nearly two years, I am starting to look for a three wheeler.
I like the look of the Aero racing screen - does anyone have any experience of fitting one to replace the plastic screens? Is it a fairly straightforward DIY job?

When my M3W was nearing completion in 2016, MMC introduced the full screen as an accessory and option but there were none available initially. I ordered the Fairbourne one and my dealer fitted it at PDI. I asked the factory not to fit the individual screens which they were happy to do, to avoid removing sealant etc.

The reason for fitting the full screen was based on trusted advice from an early M3W owner with a well developed car. He told me fitting the full screen gave the single biggest improvement in driving experience.

I believe Fairbourne offer a slightly lower version as well.

I’ve test driven a car with a full screen recently, and hugely preferred it to the original screens, which had been on all the earlier three wheelers I’d driven.
Now on with the search!

I can't speak to ridership with the low screens. But based on mine with the taller OE unit, love it. It truly makes the M3W a 4-season joy. Goggles instead of a full face helmet more than suffice in any conditions.

But then again, I prefer the full OE fairing/screen on my slo-mo Ural too instead of bugs in my face.

I have the MMC full screen. At 179cm, I often find myself looking half through and half over the top, but it is a useful wind baffle.

There was a thread a few months ago about the difference between the Morgan and Fairbourne screens, with comments that the latter offers slightly less protection for the outside arm, but one advantage is that it is possible to screw a rear view mirror into the centre post for stability.

Surely, it is the Fairbourne screen that provides more protection because it's wider than the MMC one?
