After having my 3.0 Roadster written off and now with its 3.7 replacement I’m wanting to fit roll over protection. I’m only interested in a system that will fit under the easy up hod and minimises the impact on the luggage space etc. BUT importantly it should be secure and sturdy enough in its construction and mounting to the vehicle to provide real protection in the event of a roll. Looking for recommendations....

I am also very curious about the recommendations. A further requirement would be for me that the rollbar is not laterally at the head, because that is rather bad without crash helmet with a lateral accident.

As Techniques do a lot of Morgan race cars - I would speak to Brian.

Yes talk with Brian at Techniques or Librands. I have always fitted roll bars to my sports cars. Type is different if its just for personal safety rather than meeting racing requirements

Nfitz, We have just had BHM fit a Librands bar: it is discreet, takes up no room behind the seats and fits neatly under the hood.

Nfitz, We have just had BHM fit a Librands bar: it is discreet, takes up no room behind the seats and fits neatly under the hood. A question - can you recline the driver’s seat (which I need to do in my Roadster) as I have long arms and legs? I would like a roll bar but was told it would inhibit my ability to rake back my seat with the recliner adjustment

I’ve looked at Librands ... unfortunately my preferred dealer (Life’s at Southport) declines to fit one for me. At £900 and a days labour it seems an expensive option.
Waiting to hear from Techniques ...
