Always had a fascination for Morgans ever since my childhood when I had a ride in one and its taken all these years (!) before I can be in a position to finally get one. Had a great visit to the factory last week which has fired me up even more followed by a friend buying one and picking it up from the factory in a couple of weeks time.....I'll be there as his passenger!

I've a Z3 at the moment which has to reside outside as my garage has motorbikes in it...the first step towards my Morgan ownership is to construct a secure shed for the bikes and free up my garage. The Z3 survives pretty well outdoors but I'm not sure a Morgan would.

Looking forward to many hours of browsing the forum smile

Welcome to the forum Jays - You will find lots of bike owners turn to Morgans. Some retain the bike and a Morgan, whilst others will trade in their bike for a fast Morgans. spend

In the US it seems that 'old' oldgit Harley riders are very drawn to Morgans. part you Morgan near a coach load of yanks and they all come flocking over. love

Enjoy your ride in your mates car. Your be hooked (even if it rains) crazy2

Welcome Jay, hope the collection goes well and you enjoy the drive - my guess is that the trip in the passenger seat will seal the deal and you'll be hooked. wink

Z3s do live OK outside (only kept mine for 5 months though - found the 1.9 too soft).
My 4/4 has lived in the garage since soon after its purchase. No bikes any more (sold the Triumph in Dec 09).

Enjoy the ride when your mate collects his car - as said above, I think you'll be converted too! thumbs

Cheers,

Asbo.. Geo and I collected the car yesterday (Thursday) from the factory. So I ended up with my third trip around the factory in a month as he just had to go round it! Not that I'm complaining.

The sun shone all day so we drove back to my place with the roof down and the sun shone for me too in that there may be a car for me coming soon as well! A few miles out of Malvern I was totally smitten!!
