Just wanted to say thank you James for your suggestion re the sheepskin things. Lady HB is much happier now- they have defo done the trick and made her more comfortable. All we need to do now is be able to move her chair so we can play with her seating angle to try and sort out her somewhat painful shoulders and I’ll be on to a winner! Thanks again HB

Just wanted to thank everyone for their ideas on this thread. The sheepskin belt thingy appears to work well for Lady HB so we are both grateful for that suggestion. The vonhaus tyre pump arrived today and I had a bit of a play when I got home from work. I LIKE! It’s a clever but simple bit of kit (bit like me without the clever bit before anyone says anything) but works v well. My fronts were set at 20.5 so increased to 22 and the rears at 21 so put up to 23. Am looking forward to taking Florence for a drive to see what, if any, difference I detect. So I can then have another play.... 👍 Thanks again all HB

Hi. This might seem a silly question but how do I help Lady HB lose the feeling of being strangled by her seatbelt (no I am not actually strangling her with her seatbelt and this post is my cover story when in front of the beak)? Where it comes over the back of the seat and then across her, she feels as if it is cutting into her neck excessively. We used a scarf as a temporary solution but still wasn’t ideal. I see it is fed through a rectangular ring of metal so can’t slide it more down the side of the seat before getting to her shoulder. Is there a simple solution or is the scarf the only practical and safe way to resolve? Thank you HB More throttle, less brakes.

This rebuilt double action (cylinder within piston) Walters and Dobson foot pump works well for me. As bought. Cost almost zero as part of job lot at auction.

More throttle, less brakes. Fewer. Debatable correction. Braking less often = fewer brakes Braking more gently = less brakes
