Ray , Thats the one thing ,I get angry at when you give them the honest reply and they tell me I am wrong because they have seen loads . I now tell them to look under the wings .Got so bad at shows I have A4 photos laminated pop them behind the wipers, chassis on wheels and the wood frame ( OR IS THAT CHASSIS )  the one thing have been Don't worry, the wooden chassis will come next. Sorry should have said welcome from Wales.

Hello Everyone... I am new to your exclusive web site, from the USA of all places.. It can’t be that exclusive.. they let me join the forum! On your question I get “did you build it yourself”? All the time I usually bore them to death and help in educating people to the Morgan ways by saying no and that all Morgans are factory built, (of course in your situation it’s a little more convoluted) and that they never were or are kits I also explain that there were a few fibreglass bodied copycat kits around in the 70’s that looked similar from a distance

I used to enjoy the compliments that were showered on me about how brilliantly I’d restored my Mog. As to the age question, I used to find the reply “how old would you like it to be ?” would generally raise a laugh.

Delighted to see that the "Rolling Chassis" Roadsters are getting to customers in the USA.
About the only place you don't get the inevitable questions is around Malvern...
Elsewhere I smile and tell them that it is a 2013 car with an aluminium platform chassis and a wooden framed body. Showing the rear edge of the door, where the wooden grain is obvious is usually enough.
This usually leads to a short discussion, sometimes with someone who knows what they are talking about!!
Just enjoy, driving a Morgan is a special, different, experience.

If they say it in a polite manner, just say " no it is a brand new car, they are still making them but with modern improvements, you should try one."
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
