Don't count your chickens............. I've known it to snow in Germany in April!!
In fact I bet you haven't changed your winter tyres on your daily driver yet, have you?
The rule in Germany is always "O to O". (Winter tyres from October to Easter). Although I must admit winter in Germany is getting milder. In fact I've got my Morgan on seasonal number plates, only registered to use it for seven summer months, but we have so many days in the winter that are dry & sunny I'm thinking of getting it registered to use all year round.

Daily driver is on winter tyres of course.

It is just because of the TÜV thing. Want to get it done and later have the car in my garage instead of winter storage at a friends house.

I woud not go on the winter sunny days. They use so much salt, that it needs a lot of rain to clean the roads.

Snow in April?
Few years ago I was fishing on the river Cothi not far from Carmarthen and it started to snow heavily.
It was May.
No fish caught frown
It was an early season recce to see how the winter floods had changed the river.

I have Michelin CrossClimate tyres on the Plus 4. In our zone you must carry chains or have certified winter tyres from 15 November to 15 April.

The CrossClimate tyres may not be track day tyres, or the best snow tyres, but they are an excellent compromise for the road, and yes, I have used them in snow though not when it has been covering the roads.
