Don't want to strike the wrong note on a thread which is meant to be just banter but it is entirely possible that IDS reads this forum so maybe we should not let political differences descend into being unpleasant on a personal level? Please take that as a gentle nudge.

I quite like IDS. Yes I realise that's a bit odd, but I also quite like his twin.....(struggles to remember name)...ah William Hague.
His Morgan? Single exhaust left side, so pre Duratec?
Standard door mirrors, screen mirror in that stupid position which the factory tend to use.......
But credit to him....the baseball cap is very statesmanlike. I speak as a serial baseball cap wearer, and old enough to know better.
I bet he reads Miscellany, and if he does read TM will no doubt enjoy the rough and tumble. It's not quite Private Eye here is it!

I thought that IDS and Hague were ok for the time, it is a very different world at the moment. I think it's great that he has the confidence to drive it.
Just look at the picture of baboon-man in his Nissan Serena with optional seat belts. How does that portray things to the public. Was he doing an Uber last night or something ? Contrast the two attitudes displayed there. I might live in hope that he has one of the faulty Takata airbags and gets to give it a nibble if I were more malevolent.

One can disapprove of policies without attacking the person, but at the same time I wouldn't be too concerned, I doubt that IDS is particularly thin-skinned, he's been a professional politician for many years.

Absolutely, I even hope IDS is a TM member We don’t have to all agree on our politics and at least it’s not Grayling with the Mog  I’m off to buy a copy of the Times to keep the front page
