Phone call from my vw dealer advising my term was half way through and there are great current offers on golfs.
I've paid off the loan but having an idle moment and being a gullible old fool i dropped in to the garage.
I am considering going green for a daily driver but I do a 100 mile work commute so a 150mile range for the current fully electric golf does not give much margin for error.
The hybrid would appear the best answer but vw don't make them anymore.
Wait till next year said the sales representative - an electric golf with 400 mile range is coming out.

Be careful of that itch.
There is a new line of Golf coming out very shortly. Next VW Golf is rumoured not to be getting an E. They are bringing out a new line of e-models which are likely to have a better range and spec at a lower price (than the e model specifically) I suspect this might impact the eGolf second hand prices.
Then show him the spec on the eNiro and ask him how he wants to justify the price....with a discount. Get a quote on carwow and then you should be in a good position!
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I hope they've improved the driveline, tested one 3or4 years ago and at low speed it felt like something was 'oval' it just wouldn't crawl in traffic, without little surges

look carefully at the price list. The eGolf is fully loaded with all the extras....
