Well let’s just hope that they don’t control acceleration......that is far more exhilarating than top speed. It’s why I drive an Austin Seven 😂🤣
In Australia (NSW at least)... there is a road traffic act that a copper can charge you with something called 'excessive acceleration'!!!

It had to happen at some point - brilliant. I guess they could go further and start to add "go to" processes. Go to service dept Go to Starbucks Go to jail, directly, do not pass go, do not collect $200!

On top of that they are talking about obligatory black boxes to store your speeds 😳
. Will this mean the end of all the speedbumps and speed cameras?

Oh yes please! Mind you what will they do with the loss of camera revenue eventually?

I was wondering how autonomous cars would cope with some of the country lanes I was on last weekend with no markings at the edges let alone no centre line, when I encountered a couple of vehicles coming in the opposite direction and had to reverse back to a passing place. If we were all in autonomous cars, would the cars just stop and look at each other indefinitely?
