Came across this article in the Telegraph recently. It sort of sums up why I own a Morgan. Thought I would share it here.

I don't know about the article...

But my love is more than 30 years old. On a journey in Britain my wife and me had a look in the factory. It was a great and magic day. Our plan: let's save money for such a car.

Done. If we got the money, other things are on the list.

Last year there was a point with deep pockets. And after some days with "frogmog" hired from BHM we fixed it.

Since march "EM" is waked up and has done 1000 miles. With pleasure.

My wife isn't a fanatic car girl, but she is on my side about cars with a personality.

And there are some other nice points she notice when EM roars and I smile, she isn't in fear when "EM" and me are in hurry on the german motorway with a little bit over "the ton". Slowly, but warm falling in love with our mileeater, roadmachine or a one of the last classic sportscars...

I got no access to the whole article so I have to stick to the picture. I am not absolutely sure the Prince of Wales is driving a Morgan. He drives a nice car but what irritates me is the MG sign..

I know my Roadster is not an old car, but, notwithstanding the ECU and the power of the engine, it is an analogue experience when compared to modern vehicles which I also own. The joy I get from driving the Morgan is hard to describe as it is so different, and the article sort of does put it into words. Hence why I shared it, for better or worse!

It's all the faces smiling at the car that I love. The bikers giving it the thumbs up. The friendly manners of other road users that let you out at junctions.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
