Indeed, looks good, did they run out of blue paint?
Hope rest gets sorted quickly.

I never knew the 80th Anniversary wheels were of a 'modular' design. They look amazing actually :>) Must be pretty light as well as very 'stiff' which will certainly optimise the handling.

Personally, I like the fact that it's not painted on the inside... unless of course the other 4 are?

Lovely 80th example ... I am sure you feel very proud to own it.

Very frustrating that it is not painted and arrived without the adaptor for you. That is a fine looking wheel and well engineered I wonder who makes them for MMC.
I hope this is soon resolved to your satisfaction.

Richard, it is also Imagewheels as far as I know.

http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/billet-46-classic-build-alloy-wheel/

It looks different and it has different dimensions but it is basically the same type as the rims of the former Plus 8 speedster without roof.

I recall the wheels not being painted body colour on the inside when I was there. It surprised me. Strange that the hub adapter wasn’t included.

That's better smile

Unfortunately my 'go to' tyre place who I can trust not to bugger up wheels didn't have a valve that accommodated the Morgan valve sleeves. Despite giving them the sleeve and valve cap was greeted with this...

Now there are worse things in life to worry about and I really do keep telling myself that but my OCD will keep niggling away until eventually I end up replacing the valve frown2
