Always very sobering to read of accidents as bad as this.
Really hope they both make a full and speedy recovery.

The only positive to take away from the report is that they were transported by land ambulance, even though the air ambulance was there. This suggests that their injuries were not life threatening - I hope it is true.
I know that road: it is a bit of a challenge, but encourages one to make good progress. As we have seen in reports of other M3W accidents, when the back end goes you become a passenger and what happens is down to luck.
Fingers for Bill and John's speedy recovery. You can’t make that assumption Peter, anything may have happened. I worked with Bill at the factory and he was an experienced driver of both old and new three wheelers. My thoughts are with them both and their families.

Hello Guys, I did not want to post this on the Bridgnorth thread as it was such a great weekend. As we set off home we came across a major accident a few miles from Bridgnorth. From what I can gather the Morgan Motor Co new Five Speeder was being driven by two MTWC Club Members. These were Bill Higginson and John Barker, both good friends of ours. From what we could see some way from the accident the Mog had gone off the road and hit a tree. I know that part of the road very well and it can be difficult. I have been told that both men are critically ill in hospital with serious injuries. Can we all please think of them and their families at this difficult time and pray they can recover well. Ian and Maria. What awful news to read.... Wishing them all the best on their road to recovery.
