Nice little run out to Malvern to take the car for a look at her birthplace, bought a couple of MTW beanies in the shop, then walked to the top of Hereford Beacon.
Perfect! Lovely weather and lots of smiles. smile

No.1 son's friend bought round his new wheels yesterday.

He and his wife have a young baby and another one on the way so he obviously had to go for a sensible option.

Back to back test drives ensued. drive drive More smiles per mile with the Morgan apparently but carrying out a conversation at high speed much easier in the Fezza!

Great long weekend to Devon and back. Used the M5 to south of Bristol, then A and B roads via Cheddar, Glastonbury, Ilminster, and Cullompton to our friends’ house. They are keen hillclimbers, and have a Force Hayabusa engined car, and some lovely old cars. Pictures of our convoy to a local pub for lunch on Saturday to follow.
Then drove back to Thornbury on Sunday, spent a night on the boat, then back to Worcester today.
The car never missed a beat, but there is an odd clattering rattle from the passenger side when there is no one (or only a light passenger) in the passenger seat. Haven’t traced the cause yet.
The car has now gone from 470 miles in its first 2 years to 1100 over the last 3 weeks.
Love it!
love wine joy
And what is more - swmbo loves it just as much, and drives it at least half the time. sunny

Finally gotten round to fitting my long-time-back aquired early 1970's MiG-23 cockpit clock. Good for -75degC, +/-7G and is clockwork with 3 days power reserve. Has dual timezone, stopwatch, stop/start function and probably enough radioactive radium in the (amazingly) luminous markings to give us a sun tan. But hey, looks good (in my view) and should last better than the Friebe number that shook itself to bits over the last 5 years.
