Trip out to visit DonMogs early drive it day at Heage Windmill on Sunday (thanks to Phil for organising)  Despite the light breeze it was f f freezing cold and the sails were turning at a fair lick  Nice turnout and selection of Mogs,

153 miles from home to Vale of Dean. Via Florence ‘s birthplace in Malvern.....
Bumped into Graham (loved your 4/4 by the way) and ‘‘twas nice to catch up with him. Felt special parking on the grass with other Morgan’s rather than squished in the normal car parking spaces!
Not so fun going along M6 where the roadworks restrict you to 50 mph with everyone seeming to have a 50 mph much faster than us so Lady HB got a little nervous on occasion with the 812 ton lorries passing within a knats whisker of us nonstop. C’est la vie and the price worth paying for a top notch top down journey.
Such fun and unfortunately spent a few schillings in the factory shop so now can’t afford to eat on our hols....never mind, need to diet to fit into the jacket anyway, don’t I Graham....?????? Although my Fitbit tells me I was riding a bike for nearly 3 hours out of the four hour journey so that must help, no?...

Toddling up the A419 on Sunday at 70 (plus a bit of speedo leeway). Had to pullover to let a M3W go by at 70 (plus a LOT of speedo leeway). Cracking sight and sound, but he was soon out of sight! Magic.

Saturdays day trip from Ayrshire all the way up to Glencoe and around Loch Leven. Glorious sunshine albeit a bit cold...but with heater on full blast, it was just awesome! Heading towards Glencoe:-  Approaching Glencoe:-  Stopped for lunch at a great little seafood restaurant on the banks of Loch Leven:-  And finally...with Glencoe behind on the way home:-  (We love the way the colour of Madame Fifi changes in different light) What a trip! Totally exhilarating, fantastic fun and truly unforgettable. We passed another classic Morgan in red, hood up, just south of Crianlarich as we were heading north...they were heading south. Anyone here on TM? We're just loving this car.  Mac

Good little restaurant that one Mac. I intend to return next time I'm in the area. You know it then Graham. Food is very good and offers the best of Scottish seafood. Oysters followed by half lobster was fab!

Went to the day care centre (AKA NT at Sutton Hoo) to get it ready for the grand opening at Easter. Part of the new exhibition is a full scale frame replica of the Saxon ship to give an idea of scale.

Approx 111 miles today around Brecon Beacons taking in Clearwell Caves (v interesting), Brecon (where we took out first (rental) Morgan for the day nine years ago), and back down to Clearwell via outskirts of Merthyr. Apparently there are some hills in this area but due to constant rain/mist it looked like they had been moved somewhere else 😔. Passed an ivory white Morgan on the way along A40 with many waves between us. First time we have actually passed another moggie since we got Florence so made us v happy. Florence is looking a little grubby now but I don’t care. 😍
Time for a cocktail and feet up before grub time. Living the dream.....
