The centre pin is loose on my door striker plate. Am I correct in assuming I will have to remove the trim panel inside to gain access to the rear of the timber frame to remove the striker plate and tighten the pin? Thanks, Chris

That's what I had to do to mine - I was hoping that they were captive nuts, but not so lucky. Had to unscrew the leading edge of the side panel so I could pull it out enough to get my hand (and spanner) in.
